The Grand Prix Ski-Doo of Valcourt is a family affair. A games zone is set-up especially to entertain the whole family.
The annual Friday night fireworks extravaganza is a must-see at the Grand Prix Ski-Doo and an unbelievable lights and sound show that is sure to please everyone.
SATURDAY – Between 8:30pm and 9pm
Your Grand Prix ticket enables you to access the paddocks to meet and chat with your favourite drivers and ask questions about how the set-up of their snowmobiles changes depending on track conditions or to improve their performance. You can even ask them to sign your passport. You will find the drivers in the paddocks along with all of their team members.
For a few years, the paddocks have been known by the drivers as “WAYNE’S PADDOCKS” because of the long-time involvement of Valcourt resident Wayne Wilkins, in the paddock area. Grand Prix management has decided to officially name the paddock area in his honour. Wayne Wilkins has been involved in the event since its inception, and is known to every athlete who has pitched a tent in the paddocks.
